Welcome to MOB Kids!

We are excited that you are here! We are ready to serve alongside you as we work together as a family to reach our infants through 5th graders with the truth of the Bible! 

     -Mt. Olive Baptist Children's Ministry

Here is what you can expect throughout the week!

Sunday

Nursery (Infant - 2 yrs) 

We have nursery available for infants through 2 years of age. You can expect your child to play with fun age appropriate toys, hear Bible stories from their leaders, and fun music that glorifies the Lord. Our nursery ministry is available on Sunday during both the 9:45 Sunday School hour as well as the 11:00 am Morning Worship Service.

Sunday School (2yrs-5th Grade)

We offer Sunday School classes for ages 2-11 years old that meet every Sunday from 9:45 until 10:55, they will get out of class just in time for the Morning Worship Service. During this time your children will learn about the Bible and how those stories are still applicable even today! Through the use of our curriculum - (2-4yrs Group - Hands On) (5-7yrs Group Hands On) (8-11yrs Gospel Project) We use various activities, games, and videos to share and teach the stories of the Bible to our children! 

Children's Church

Children's Church is offered during the 11:00 morning service, children will dismiss from our morning service and will be escorted by their teacher and our security team to their assigned classroom.

During this time our Children's Church leaders teach our children a Bible lesson with fun crafts and games and have a small snack, when Morning Worship Service is over you can pick up your children from the designated pick up location.

Wednesday

Mid-Week Service (Wednesday 5:30-7:15)

Each Wednesday night we have offer a free meal from 5:30-6:00pm to all kids that would like one. - If you would like your children to have dinner with us please let the church office know so we can plan accordingly! 

During the 6:00-7:15pm time, we adapt hyfi curriculum to use during our mid-week sessions to teach, show, play, and learn more about the Bible! Each month we learn through a new series of lessons with a monthly memory verse to learn! Through videos, games, music with fun motions, we utilize all of our senses to learn and know more about God and to know we are part of a community! Watch this video to learn more about hyfi!

Safety

At Mt Olive the safety of your children is taken seriously.

All leaders and volunteers are required to submit to a thorough background check.

In addition all leaders and volunteers must attend training throughout the year.
